On Tuesday 13th December, 27 students from Mr Swann’s Year 9 Business Group took part in Brunts’ Market!
Brunts Market was launched to support Year 9 students who have just started taking GCSE Business Studies and apply in real life skills they were learning. The enterprise project was ran with Mr Swann’s group and saw students in teams be given £20 to set up their own mini business. The students spent 6 weeks developing their business and products which included hot drinks, home-made cupcakes and cookies, and because a dog isn’t just for Christmas, a dog accessory stall! These products were sold to the waiting audience for our Christmas Spectacular!
The students did a phenomenal job and made a staggering £120 after trading for only 45 minutes!
